XBox Gaming
Xbox is a video game brand that includes five home video game consoles, apps (games), the streaming service Xbox Cloud Gaming, and online services like the Xbox network and Xbox Game Pass. The brand is created by Microsoft Gaming, a Microsoft division.
The brand debuted in the United States in November 2001, alongside the release of the original Xbox console. From 2012 to 2015, Microsoft used the Xbox branding for its digital media.

The original device was the first video game system offered by an American firm after the Atari Jaguar’s sales ended in 1996. It sold over 24 million units by May 2006. Microsoft’s second system, the Xbox 360, debuted in 2005 and has sold 86 million copies as of October 2021. The third console, the Xbox One, debuted in November 2013 and has sold 58 million units. The fourth generation of Xbox consoles, the Xbox Series X and Series S, were introduced in November 2020. Phil Spencer is the current head of Xbox, having succeeded former head Marc Whitten in late March 2014.
